What To Keep In Your Purse

Keep In Your SERIES

This is part of my “what to keep in your” series. I have a little bit of an obsession about being prepared for anything. After all, there has been that ONE time I didn’t have a plastic baggie with me. 🙂 These are items that I personally feel are a “must have”.

Purse

I always enjoy seeing what other people keep in their purses. Yes, I may be a bit of a purse addict! It’s pretty bad when my daughter always tells me “Mom, you don’t need ANOTHER bag” if I look at them in the store.

vera

Here is my purse. Yep, it’s a Vera. It was a Christmas present from my mother-in-law.

The contents inside before organization. I started pulling things out to take pictures for this post and I’ve found some…interesting things.

before

Yes, that is a hospital mask. Why? Because I have a five year old who stores things in my purse. The Frozen stickers are also hers 🙂

After organization:

All

Wallet

I keep store savings cards in here as well as cash.

Kindle

I am never without my Kindle. I love being able to carry hundreds of books at a time!

EpiPens

Allergies aren’t fun!

Medicine Case

I found this case at Walmart. I carry a few days’ supply of necessary medicine. I take daily medicine for my thyroid disorder as well as allergies. I also carry my daughter’s and Tylenol. This way, I am never without my medicine if I’m unexpectedly away from home for a night or two.

Calming Oils

My sister makes these. I’ve struggled with anxiety and this takes care of it better than any medicine has. I always have this in my purse!

Allergy Stick

My sister makes this too. I don’t like to take Benadryl while I’m out and about. It makes me drowsy. Instead, I use this!

Perfume

I love this little perfume bottle!

Inhaler

Must have for an asthmatic!

Pen

I prefer a multi colored pen so I can color code my bullet journal!

Bullet Journal

The only way I remember anything!

Raisins

For emergency  snacking situations!

Granola Bar

For when hunger strikes.

Tissues

It’s allergy season.

Ponytail Holders

They always disappear. I keep a few in my purse.

Eye drops

My eyes get super dry with contacts.

Moist Wipe

In case I can’t find a sink.

Portable Charger & Cord

I love these slim chargers.

Mini Post It Notes

For mini notes of course.

Tampons/Liners

Never know when they will be needed!

How about you? What your purse must have items that you always keep in it?

Hi! I’m Mary,

I blog about saving money, earning money and spending money from a low-income point of view.

I have yet to meet anyone in poverty who WANTS to be there. But, it's a fact of life for many.

I want to help others thrive, not just survive through poverty.
