Writing “About Me” posts makes me think I need to label myself.
WAHM, SAHM, Writer, Mother, Teacher, Christian, Sister, Daughter, Friend, Couponer, Shopaholic.
These are all labels that apply to me. Does it mean I’m perfect at any of it? Heck no! I’m just trying to get through the days the best I know how.
I go to sleep some nights realizing I accomplished nothing but Netflix marathons. Other nights I’m satisfied in all that I’ve accomplished.
I haven’t found a single label that accurately describes every part of me.
So who am I?

Money Makes The World Go ‘Round
At least that’s what “they” say right? This blog is a place where I focus on saving money, making money and spending money. I have a lot to say so there might be will be other random posts sprinkled in too.
I’ve spend most of my adult life (so far) in poverty. When looking for advice online, I noticed there wasn’t too many people talking about it. And, the ones who are talking about it are doing so in judgement.
Here at Adventures In Frugal Land, I hope to reach people who need to save money because their lights are going to be shut off, who feel the sting of embarrassment when reaching for their EBT card, who can’t afford to pay cash for everything and rely on credit.
I’ve struggled with depression and anxiety over poverty. I don’t have any quick tricks to make it all better. What I do have is my experience, research and hope to share with you.
